Isata Kanneh – Mason has four grand pianos at home, but she shares them with her six talented siblings. Isata devotes about four hours a day for playing on piano, at her home in Nottingham.

She shares her passion to the grand piano with 6 musically talented siblings. The teenage girl qualified for the final of ” BBC Musician of the Year competition”. The pianist has already won a lot of music awards, including the highest marks in the UK during the piano exams. She has also performed in Los Angeles with the famous pop star Sir Elton John.
Sir Elton praised her devotion and playing skills, he pays £ 9000 for tuition at the Royal Academy of Music in London as the part of his support for talented young musicians.
Isata said that she was nervous but also excited during the performance of pop star. As she says – “When he heard my playing (at the Royal Academy), he said that he would like to sponsor me”.
Isata started playing the piano at the age of six. The music has dominated her life since that moment.
Her aim is to play classical music like: Chopin ,Scarlatti and Rachmaninov. They are her favorite composers. She says that she likes listening to pop music but playing it is not her aim. She doesn’t think about being a pop star, but using her words “the experience of being on stage with Elton was amazing”.
