13.  Satisfaction
The ability to master and flawlessly play a new composition gives you satisfaction compared to passing most important exams.  Every composition consists of less and more difficult elements.  We may easily perform simple pieces only to struggle with the problematic ones.  Working on the complicated parts separately makes us proficient and, as  the result, we manage to play the whole composition at an even pace. That makes us fulfilled in the way known only to pianists.

You achieve results by regular practice.  It concerns not only playing the piano but also practicing any other skill.  Becoming proficient in something makes us eager to practice every day and creates the habit of systematic work.  The results of systematic work are permanent and long-term. People who do not organize their work in regular activities struggle with accumulation of responsibilities, lack of time and pressure of deadlines.
